Faith is Scripturally defined as:

1. Faith is: believing that everything God said is true, committing to follow what it says, and then doing what the Word says. In other words, believing/trusting, committing to obey or do, and then the action of obeying/doing it. Another way we say it is that faith is believing, committing, and trusting in God and His Word.

2. All of mankind is “under the law” (The law of sin and death) until they come into covenant through faith in the Messiah and receive salvation by grace through that faith.

3. God’s Children through Faith 23 Before the way of faith in Christ was available to us, we were placed under guard by the law. We were kept in protective custody, so to speak until the way of faith was revealed. 24 Let me put it another way. The law was our guardian until Christ came; it protected us until we could be made right with God through faith. 25 And now that the way of faith has come, we no longer need the law as our guardian. 26 For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes’ 28There is no longer Jew or Gentile slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.

4.  The way for us to be saved is to believe that we have sinned and deserve death because the Word says so.

• John 3:3 Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of Yehovah."

• Acts 2:38 Peter replied, "Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to Yehovah and be baptized in the name of Yeshua Messiah for the forgiveness of your sins.

Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

• Proverbs 28:9 He that turned away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be an abomination.

• Ecclesiastes 12:13 That's the whole story. Here now is my conclusion: Fear Yehovah and obey His commands, for this is everyone's duty.

• Galatians 3:28 There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female.

For you are all one in Christ Yeshua.

• James 1:22 But don't just listen to Yehovah’s word. You must do what it says.

Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.

“Then Yehovah said to me, shout the message! 

Don't hold back. Say to my people Israel: You've sinned! You've turned against Yehovah your Elohim. Isaiah 58:1

 "When you tell them all this, do not expect them to listen. Shout out your warnings but do not expect them to respond. Say to them, ‘This is the nation whose people will not obey the Lord their God and who refuse to be taught. (Jeremiah 7:27) (This is a Child of the Devil) 

For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth. “John 4:24 Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Romans 12:1-2 Truth is God’s Torah You must be led by the Spirit Gal 5:18

 Rev 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

 

What is Yeshua definition of a Christian Matthew 19:17“Why ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. But to answer your question—if you want to receive eternal life, keep the commandments.”

1 John 2: 3And we can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments. 4 If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. 5 But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. 6 Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.

 

Heb 5:9 And having been perfected,  He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,

 

ESV And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.” 

 

Acts 5:32  For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

What are the end results of being let by the Spirit? It is obedience to the law of God
